A new video promoting CSI’s partnership with Google has been released. This video spotlights our continuing education and research using hands on, experience based learning. By leveraging industry standard tools donated by industry partners, Informatics provides students with the means they need for success.
Professor Kay Connelly of Informatics’ Proactive Health Center made use of donated Google Android tablets in her programming course. Her students explain the value of the tools in the video. CSI’s Professor Jean Camp secured the devices themselves via a partnership with Google, who donated them for classroom and research use.
This video covers their use in the fall of 2016, which was only one of several deployments of the devices.
